early praise for awakened relating

Awakened Relating is an inspiring and thorough investigation of intimate relationship as a way of embodying our awakened true nature. It is full of wisdom and well as practical guidance about how to bring spiritual illumination into the very heart of our humanness. Highly recommended!
— John Welwood, author of Journey of the Heart: The Path of Conscious Love
This is a wonderful and clear excursion into the inner life of intimacy. Lynn Marie leads us into our true Self where love is already and always fully alive and ready to be shared. I found her insights profound and immensely comforting.
— David Richo, author of How to be an Adult in Love
Awakened Relating dispels the myth of romantic love and points directly to an awakened way of relating that arises from the recognition of our true nature as Love. Clearly written, deeply insightful, and filled with illuminating interviews and powerful meditative inquiries, this book is a liberating guide to meet the most challenging areas of relationship from the light of Awareness. I highly recommend it!
— John J. Prendergast, Ph.D., author of In Touch

ABOUT ME

From a young age, I have been interested in exploring what is most essentially true about myself and about life’s purpose. This has been my predominate focus, which has led to over 40 years of psycho-spiritual exploration and transformational work. My deepest intention is to awaken to my true nature as fully as possible in this lifetime and to help others awaken as well.

I was born in Washington State and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 35 years and currently live in Grass Valley, CA. I have been in a happy, committed relationship since 1991, and have one adult daughter. I received a Masters degree in Holistic Health Counseling from John F. Kennedy University in 1988, which was the somatic therapy program at that time. I have been a licensed Marriage Family Therapist since 1992 and a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2003.

I have been involved in the exploration of non-dual wisdom and psychotherapy since it began in 1998. I am a repeat presenter at the annual Conference on Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy and the Science and Nonduality (SAND) Conference. I am a contributing author to The Sacred Mirror: Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy (2002), and co-author (with John Lumiere-Wins) of The Awakening West(2000). My primary teacher is Adyashanti, and I have studied with many other teachers from non-dual, Buddhist, and Hindu traditions.
